Dress Guidelines
We, at Faith Independent
Baptist
Church, believe the church
building dedicated to the worship and service of the Lord
Jesus Christ should be respected and reverenced at all church
services, activities and meetings.
All clothing worn
to church services, activities and meetings must be
appropriate and modest in appearance.
The following
guidelines are provided to help individuals in determining
what clothing is not considered appropriate and modest
clothing. Any questions concerning these guidelines should be
addressed to the Pastor, Assoc. Pastor or Church Board.
The following
clothing is considered inappropriate for services, activities
and meetings inside the church building (includes Fellowship
Hall):
Gentlemen
(13 and above) Shorts Sleeveless shirt Jeans
with holes (above the knee) Shirts with inappropriate
slogans or pictures
Ladies
(13 and above) Halter tops Tank tops Shorts
Jeans with holes above the knee Shirts with inappropriate
slogans or pictures Hem lines that are too high Neck
lines that are too low
Shorts
(not exceeding 3 inches above knee) may be worn on trips and
to outdoor activities by those 13 and above.
These guidelines
do not apply to those working and cleaning inside and outside
the church building.
